About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Master Scheduler & Reporting Lead to join a high-performing Program Management Office (PMO) supporting a major Australian Government national security portfolio.

This is a critical role within a large-scale, multi-stream program environment where integrated planning, governance and reporting are essential to successful delivery. Working closely with Program leadership, you will maintain an enterprise-wide view of program performance, enabling informed decision-making and ensuring executive stakeholders have clear visibility of progress, risks and dependencies.

This assignment offers the opportunity to contribute to work of national significance, supporting the delivery of complex capabilities that underpin Australia’s security and operational priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain and optimise the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) across the portfolio.
  • Consolidate schedules, milestones, dependencies and delivery activities across multiple projects and workstreams.
  • Monitor schedule performance, identify critical path impacts and support forecasting activities.
  • Provide schedule analysis and reporting to support program planning and decision-making.
  • Produce accurate, insightful dashboards and performance reports for senior stakeholders.
  • Maintain visibility of key risks, dependencies, deliverables and resource impacts.
  • Support governance, assurance and executive reporting requirements.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Delivery Leads and stakeholders to ensure delivery alignment across the portfolio.

About the PMO

The PMO provides portfolio-wide governance, integrated planning, reporting, assurance and delivery oversight across a complex program landscape.

Key functions include:

  • Integrated planning and scheduling.
  • Governance and assurance reporting.
  • Risk, issue and dependency management.
  • Resource and delivery coordination.
  • Change, communications and stakeholder engagement support.

As a key member of the PMO, you will help ensure informed decision-making, delivery transparency and successful outcomes across a strategically important government portfolio.

Skills & Experience

We are looking for professionals with:

  • Demonstrated experience developing and managing Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) within large, complex programs.
  • Strong program reporting experience within government, ICT, infrastructure or transformation environments.
  • Expertise in dependency management, milestone tracking and schedule integration.
  • Experience supporting executive, governance and assurance reporting.
  • Strong analytical, forecasting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication capabilities.
  • Experience working within structured PMO environments and governance frameworks.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Previous Australian Government experience will be highly regarded.
