Job description

Projects Assured are seeking several highly experienced ICT project managers to join the team.

Key responsibilities of the role:

  • Thoroughly understand and communicate stakeholder requirements to team members and manage requirements accordingly.
  • Establish clear ownership for project tasks.
  • Coordinate and facilitate delivery of project objectives.
  • Develop detailed project plans.
  • Monitor and track progress of project performance using appropriate tools and techniques, providing reporting and escalations to senior management as required.
  • Assist project managers to manage the project scope, schedule, and cost.
  • Identify, document, and manage project risks and issues.

Skills and experience required:

  • Hold a PRINCE2 foundation or practitioner certification, or qualifications in the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK).
  • A soundtrack record of supporting the successful delivery of complex ICT-enabled procurement and business projects.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with client senior executives.
  • Ability to think strategically and understand the bigger picture.
  • Possession of superior stakeholder engagement and management skills.
  • Ability to produce clear, accurate, and timely project reports, documentation and correspondence.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment, including being able to communicate effectively and provide clear guidance to achieve business goals.
  • Experience working within the federal government.
