The Role

We are seeking experienced Management Consultants with the ability to influence high priority outcomes and deliver documentation pertaining to capability investments, in the form of project business cases and submissions, to Defence and Government clients.

You will be able to provide strategic advice while managing key stakeholders to assist project sponsor’s during their internal and external approval process throughout the capability life cycle - effectively understanding and analysing complex problems, breaking down information and rejoining the dots for your client. This will also involve cost assurance checks to ensure supporting project cost estimates are of appropriate quality. The work undertaken are in highly sensitive areas and discretion is paramount. 

What you will bring

• Active AGSVA Negative Vetting 1 (minimum)
• Minimum 5 year’ experience in a Defence environment
• The ability to write about a project strategy when it does not exist yet
• The ability to cut through the technical jargon to understand the capability required
• The ability to explain more abstract and less tangible capabilities (Command and Control, ICT, Intel systems).
• Engagement skills - build and maintain relationships on all levels, including Executives
• Writing skills - produce clear, accurate and timely project documentation
• Collaboration skills - effectively communicate and provides clear guidance to achieve business goals
